One of the limitations of wireless email devices, including Blackberry, is the inability to read file attachments, itrezzo overcomes this limitation with itrezzoAgent. With itrezzoAgent, file attachments such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF files can be read on your BlackBerry. If there is an HTTP URL in the message, the agent will dynamically fetch the web page and return it to you as simple text.

How to convert files and Web pages using itrezzoAgent:

1. When you receive an email that has a file attachment or includes a web page URL, simply forward the email to itrezzoAgent (Agent@itrezzo.COM).
   
   
2. The itrezzoAgent will scan the email for file attachments or web page URLs.
   
   
3. For file attachments, the itrezzoAgent will return a plain text translation of the supported attachment.
   
   
4. For web page URLs, the itrezzoAgent will access the Internet in real-time, visit the indicated web page, and return a plain text translation of the web page.
   
   

The Global Address List lookup component of the itrezzoAgent conveniently overcomes the limits of the blackberry address book memory, and is especially useful to large enterprise customers. With a simple request from a handheld, the itrezzoAgent will return BlackBerry address book attachments that a user can quickly add to their handheld’s address book.

Your Systems Administrator will assign a mailbox for the itrezzoAgent and will give that mailbox an Alias such as “itrezzoAgent@yourcompany.com.” If you have not done so already, get the alias of the itrezzoAgent from your System Administrator.

How to use the lookup component of the itrezzoAgent:

1. Compose a new message and address it to itrezzoAgent@yourcompany.com
   (Use the appropriate Alias established by your systems administrator.)
   
   
2. In the subject, put a lookup in the form of firstname lastname.
   
   For example: Subject: gary *
• This will return all people in the company with a first name of Gary.
• You could also make the search even more generic: Subject: gar *
• This request will search for both Gary and Garry
• You may also search using a last, first format: Subject: Smith, j*


3. itrezzoAgent will return up to five matching address book entries. If a query had more than five matches (but less than 25), you will get a numbered list of matching entries in a response message.
   
   In This case, simply reply to the message and specify the number of the contact you desire in the first line of the body. It is not necessary to reply with text.
   
   Under normal network conditions, a response will take about 10 seconds.
   
   
4. When you receive the desired address book entry from itrezzoAgent, simply open the attachment from your and save it to your BlackBerry address book. The address entry can then be used as usual.
