itrezzo EPS server (EPS) provides Business Continuity and sustained communications during and after a disaster. How it Works.
EPS is a purely server side solution implemented with the itrezzoAgent server installed and configured behind your corporate firewall. It acquires contact information from multiple sources within the enterprise including: the GAL, Alternate Contact Folders and manual entries by the IT department. This information is acquired on a set schedule, usually once a day. It is then distributed to the Microsoft® Outlook Contact Folders of the licensed users for synchronization to their handhelds. Only contacts that are currently listed in a user's folder are updated. Any changes to a client contact folder are identified in an email to them. Only contacts that are currently listed in a user's folder are updated. Similarly, only the information that user currently has for a given contact is updated. This enables the maintenance of additional contact information that is not distributed to everyone. There is also a Mandatory Contacts feature that ensures that information required for emergencies is updated in each user contact folder regardless of whether it has been removed or not. This is designed to meet requirements previously met by wallet cards and emergency contact distribution lists.
